Size of the Solar System.

Humans are attracted to things that are challenging, and that makes life interesting. The size of the Solar system which is approximately 5 million kilometers has always been an attraction for humans. Based on the NASA, since the launch of the Apollo 11 mission on July 16, 1969, the universe has been of interesting for humans. This marked the beginning of a new era that showed that it was possible for humans to go into space. Neil Armstrong, Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin and Michael Collins were the astronauts on Apollo 11. The moon is approximately 384,400 km away from Earth, and it took them four days to land on the moon. Collins stayed in orbit around the moon. He did some experiments and took some pictures. Having this dream come true, added an enormous success in the story because even though the size of the solar system is immense, it does not seem to be an obstacle for humans anymore. After this first launch, different things have been done to continue discovering the solar system.

  1. I agree with you. Since the Niel Armstong landed on the moon, everyone felt that anything was possible. Some people took more interest in others. Scientist dedicated to research the solar system or the stars or different things that happen around us. Astrounants didnt just want to go out into space just cause, it has to be a passion to go out in space and see the earth below you. After the launch everything changed, it chaanged loves, perspectives. It motivated people to know that they can and will achieve anything. Scientist now can see light years away from machines that were made just to look at outter space and beyond. Niel armstrong motivated the world and motivated people to pursure careers dedicated to beyond where we live.
