Some Lessons from the Assembly Line

I agree with the essay Some Lessons from the Assembly line because I think that when we are getting an education, it is because we want to have a better style of life. Getting a degree sometimes seems hard because there are some other circumstances that come along with it. For example, if people are working after school or whenever they are free, it can sometimes distract them from that process of getting a degree. We are getting an education because we want to be better persons and probably because of the job that we have now is something that we don’t want to do for the rest of our lives. Andrew Braaksma had this summer job that he said he didn’t like, but this was motivating him to study harder in school so he could get a better job later. We all go through these circumstances sometimes in our lives. We are doing something that we don’t want, but this job is bringing us a lesson: that to go wherever we want to go, we have to work hard and appreciate what we now have.
I disagree with Your Lifestyle has Already Been Designed because this essay just talks about getting money out of something. People are working because they are getting paid, but when that happens people tend to lose the motivation or enjoyment of working at something that they have decided to do for the rest of their lives.
