Lessons from the Assembly LIne

I believe that Andrew Braaksma "real world" is the true form. Not everyone can get the same type of education. In a third world or even a second world country an education is rare and those that do receive a education will have a better life. Students are also paying for their college/education so they should take advantage and use their education. Most American's don't even have to worry about not attending a college, just where they want to go for college. We should use the education we are getting to try to get a stable job with good job security. Also all jobs are not secure. With companies always competing with each other will cause some to either go into bankruptcy or just be force to fire some of their workers. Some companies will move to other country to get workers that will work for less money like, like with Braaksma said "...moved to Mexico, where people would work for 60 cents an hour." So companies may just even decide to go to another country to have workers work for even less than they pay you right now. Jobs are hard to obtain and a job is very easy to lose.

  1. I agree with this. Everyone sometimes overlooks the importance of education, we go to college to have the job of our dreams and get the great education the world has to offer to us. I was so close to not coming to college because i didn't think it would such a big deal. But from the support of my grandparents and how they said that education is very important. It isn't easy, i would have to work very hard to get where i want to be, nothing was ever handed to me. Education will always be worth it at the end and we have to learn to learn as much as we can. we are lucky we have the opportunity to go to college, we need to take advantage of this, other teenagers like us might never have a education.
