Whales
There was a female whale that was stuck in a anchor. She was dying, had a hard time breathing. The divers saved her. The whale later "thanked" the divers. The whale had swam towards them and gently pushed their chest and made eye contact. The divers felt so moved and touched. They actually do believe that the whale was saying thank you. The whale was expressing her emotions. The whale could have just swam away happily after being saved but the fact that she came back and looked at all the divers does lead to a conclusion that the whale does have actual feelings

I agree with you with that the Whale did thank the divers from freeing her. If animals were as mindless or didn't think the whale wouldn't have bothered to swam towards them and "thanked them". The prolong eye contact can indicate that the whale was trying to communicate to them nonverbal, just like how humans will communicate nonverbal with other people that doesn't speak our language.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you as well. Also hot the whale came back and looked at each and every diver in the eye and stood there. Also how the woman diver says that the divers had to leave her, cause she would of just stood there, watching them and thanking them. I think any animal would have been greatful. Also how they brought on that man that said he "didn't speak whale" he also said he was sure that the whale was grateful but how would be REALLY know that she was thanking them. This was such an awesome story and I'm sure that whale had feelings.
