Long term Vs. Short term
I'm more long term focused because I like to save up for a long time then buy something. For example,when I bought my truck I saved up for almost 3 years just to buy it. When you are long term focused you just think about what you want to buy and cane wait to finally get it. It makes you work so much harder when you want something really bad. Just like the reading says when you invest so much time in something it helps you achieve your goals. You have to be "self-controlling."

I would also say I am more of a long term kind of person just because thinking long term in any kind of sense is always best.
ReplyDelete1.Thinking long term can help you prepare for the short term consequences ahead and by thinking those through will make it so much easier to get to your long term goal.
2.Also when you are thinking long term it has more meaning behind to what you are thinking.
For example my long term destination right now is to graduate college in 4 years, and the only way I can do that is by preparing for as many short term dilemmas as I can whether it has to do with, exams, assignments, quizzes, and so forth
