Ever since I found this image on a random magazine in the eighth grade, I have had some kind of connection with. The instructions were to make a collage out of magazine cut outs, that described us. Ms. Johnson's eyes quickly recognized the image and said "That is definitely you".Despite having a great father; a man that treats my mother my sisters and myself as royalty, my mother has always told me to NEVER depend on a man to get what I want and or to get where I want in life. I've grown to not only believe it, but to live by it. And not just a man, but anyone! I try to never depend on anyone to do things. Now-a-days more woman are getting their masters, degrees. Women are growing more independent by the years. They are growing and making history. I want to be one of those women.

What are the strength and limitations of the text? I could see the strength being how you explained what your mother told you and how you took that to heart and have lived by her words. I would have to say that the limitation of your text would be how you didn't go to deep into the explanation of the picture. You could have explained the connection you feel with it with greater detail and maybe given us a bit more detail.
