I believe that success comes with hard work and dedication. Ever since I was 15 I knew that I would have to buy my own truck. I worked every summer to earn enough money to eventually purchase my dream truck. I started off working at a tire shop in Sealy, TX making minimum wage and getting a pay raise every 6 months. When I turned 16 I checked my bank account and knew I didn't have enough money to buy a truck, so I just drove our old farm truck that has been passed down from generation to generation. I'd pull up to school everyday and see all of the nice trucks in the parking lot that everyone's parents paid for and I just told myself "one day I'll have a nice truck." By the time I was getting ready to leave for college I had enough money to go to the Ford dealership and start making payments on a new truck. Ever since I was a little kid I always wanted a big truck, hard work and dedication helped me succeed and achieve one of my childhood dreams.
what was your purpose for writing this blog? was it to inform others if they really want something they have to work hard for it? to persuade to follow their dreams ? to call to action? This question is relevant to your blog because you're telling us that you worked for your dream truck because you were dedicated and never gave up. You pursued your dreams , so it can give others the ability to do the same. It just needs a lot of hard work. Also calling them to step and take action.

ReplyDeleteWhat surprises, puzzles, or intrigues about your text? I think that this question is relevant to your post because while you were trying to pursue your dream, you were probably puzzle because you did not have enough money to buy your dream car. Not being able to have enough money to buy your car, at the beginning, must have been a difficult time for you. Later you were probably surprise because after working for so long and with dedication you were able to buy your own truck.
